Emily Agostinelli Joins The Citizens Bank As SVP And Chief Risk Officer
November 6, 2025 2:26 pmThe Citizens Bank of Philadelphia is excited to announce the hiring of Emily C. Agostinelli as its new Senior Vice President and Chief Risk Officer. With over 25 years of experience in risk management, internal audit, and regulatory compliance, Emily brings proven expertise in transforming enterprise audit functions and risk governance. Her insights into regulatory compliance expectations, cross-functional team leadership, and M&A due diligence initiatives position her to enhance the bank’s enterprise risk management function, while strengthening operational effectiveness, controls, and growth.
As the new Chief Risk Officer, Emily will lead The Citizens Bank’s enterprise risk function and serve as a strategic partner to executive leadership and board of directors on matters related to risk management.

Prior to joining The Citizens Bank, Emily served as the Chief Audit Officer & Executive Vice President for The First Bank. A certified internal auditor (CIA), Emily serves as a board member for the Central Mississippi Institute of Internal Auditors. She received her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Delta State University.
