The core conversion date will now be effective with the opening of business on April 6, 2020. The bank’s name may change, but rest assured the faces you have grown accustomed to seeing will continue to deliver the high-level personal care and service you have come to expect.

As we approach the core conversion, we have developed a quick overview of some key points. Please take a few moments to review this information.

Demand Deposit and Savings Accounts
Your account number will not change. You may continue to use your current checks and deposit slips. Your current (Charter Product Name) will convert to The Citizens Bank (TCB Product Name) effective April 6, 2020. You have been notified by mail what product type your account will convert to.

Certificates of Deposit (CD’s) and Individual Retirement Accounts (IRA’s)
Your account number will not change. Your current terms and rates will continue until maturity. Prior to maturity we will notify you of any changes in terms or rates. Automatic transfers of interest payments will continue without interruption.

Direct Deposits and Automatic Transfers
Any direct deposits or automatic transfers you have established will continue with no interruptions. When establishing new direct deposits or automatic transfers, be sure to use TCB’s routing number, #065302154, if prompted.

ATM/Debit Card
You will be issued a new ATM/Debit card to be mailed on or about March 23. A few days later your new PIN will be mailed in an unmarked envelope – please be sure to not discard as junk mail. You may activate your new TCB debit card beginning Monday, April 6, by following the activation instructions on the sticker located on the front of the card. If you would like to change your PIN you may do so after 8:00 AM on April 6 by visiting any of our ATM locations or by calling us at 800-397-0344 or 601-656-4692. All consumer debit cards are issued with a daily point of sale limit of $2,500.00 and ATM daily limits of $500.00. All business debit cards are issued with a daily point of sale limit of $5,000.00 and ATM daily limits of $500.00. Your Charter Bank ATM/Debit card will no longer be active effective Monday, April 6.

During the conversion weekend (beginning at 4:00 PM, April 3) we will make every effort to keep funds available for debit card use. However, we recommend that you be prepared to have alternate forms of payment from April 3, at 4:00 PM until 8:00 AM on April 6.

Any automatic payments you have established using your Charter Bank debit card will have to be re-established using your TCB debit card.

Online Banking
Beginning Friday, April 3, at 4:00 PM, the Charter banking system will be set to inquiry only mode and you will not be able to access many of the features of your online banking product. Further, we will not be able to convert your Charter online banking account to a TCB online banking account. Beginning April 6, go to our website to enroll for online banking by clicking the Enroll in Online Banking link in the top right corner of our home page. Enter your last name, social security number, date of birth and preferred log-in ID. From there the system will instruct you on the remaining steps to establish your online banking account, including creating your online banking password.

Recurring Transfers will not convert to our system. Recurring transfers set up through online banking must be re-created once you have enrolled in TCB online banking. When re-creating your recurring transfers be sure to use TCB’s routing number, #065302154, if prompted.

Bill Pay information stored in Charter Bank’s current system will not convert over to TCB. Collect any information on payees you may need prior to 4:00 PM on April 3. Once your TCB online banking has been established, you must re-create your payee list under the Bill Payment option. Only bill payments dated on or before April 3 will be processed through Charter’s bill pay.

E-Statements will not transfer to TCB online banking. Download and store any Charter e- statements you require prior to 4:00 PM on April 3.

Quicken or Quick Books users should perform a final download of their information before the Charter system goes into inquiry only mode at 4:00 PM on April 3.

You will receive a one-time account statement dated April 3 that coincides with the last day of transaction processing through Charter’s core operating system. Your next statement cycle following the April 3 statement will approximate your current statement cycle date. Any Charter account converted to a TCB E-Vantage account will have a month end cycle date.

ATM Locations
Effective March 20, the deposit feature function will no longer be available at the Pascagoula ATM. ATM’s located at the former Charter locations of Biloxi Medical Center, Gulfport, Ocean Springs and Pascagoula may not be operational after the close of business on April 3 but should be fully functional at the start of business on April 6.

Mobile Banking
Charter Bank’s mobile app will not be available after 4:00 PM on April 3. Once you have established your online banking services with TCB, please download our Apple or Android mobile banking app by searching for The Citizens Bank of Philadelphia on your smartphone or tablet.

Loans, Lines of Credit and Mortgage Loans
Your current loan terms will remain in effect subject to your current documentation unless you are otherwise notified. Please continue to pay as you do today. Automatic loan payments drafted from you checking or savings accounts will continue as usual.
