Remote Deposit

Checks waiting to go to the bank represent unusable funds to your business. With The Citizens Bank's Remote Deposit Capture service, you can scan and electronically deposit your customers' check without leaving your office. This service is designed to save you both time and money, leaving you with more opportunities for your business. The need to race to the bank before closing will be eliminated!

The Advantages:

How it Works:

  1. You receive a check either in person or in the mail.
  2. You scan the check using a desktop scanner & PC.
  3. Once all checks are scanned, you transmit the deposit electronically.
  4. The Citizens Bank posts the deposits and processes the images in lieu of actual checks.
The Citizens Bank of Philadelphia is participating in the FDIC's Transaction Account Guarantee Program. Under that program, through December 31, 2010, all noninterest-bearing transaction accounts as well as certain eligible NOW accounts which earn .25% annual interest or less are fully guaranteed by the FDIC for the entire amount in the account. Coverage under the Transaction Account Guarantee Program is in addition to and separate from the coverage available under the FDIC's general deposit insurance rules.
